01 Ownership & Copyright Statement

© 2026 Lunot. All rights reserved.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all material made available by Lunot — including but not limited to the Lunot mobile applications, the lunotapp.netlify.app website, marketing pages, illustrations, photography, iconography, audio, video, animations, source code, compiled binaries, application programming interfaces, fonts (where licensed for distribution), data models, machine-learning models, prompts, predictions, written copy, user-interface designs, and the overall "look and feel" of the product — is the exclusive property of Lunot and/or its licensors and is protected by United States copyright law and international copyright treaties, including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, the WIPO Copyright Treaty (WCT), the Universal Copyright Convention, and the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS).

Copyright protection arises automatically upon fixation of an original work in a tangible medium of expression. No copyright registration is required for protection to attach, although Lunot reserves the right to register works with the United States Copyright Office and equivalent registries worldwide and to enforce statutory damages and attorneys' fees where available.

02 Trademarks & Brand Assets

"Lunot", the Lunot wordmark, the crescent-moon logomark, the tagline "Your cycle, your rhythm, your life.", and any associated stylized fonts, color palettes, product icons, splash screens, and marketing imagery are trademarks, service marks, or trade dress of Lunot, whether registered or unregistered.

You may not use the Lunot name, logo, or other brand assets:

All other trademarks, service marks, product names, and company names referenced on Lunot surfaces — including Apple®, App Store®, iOS®, iPhone®, iPadOS®, HealthKit, Apple Health, SwiftUI, Sign in with Apple, Google Play™, Android™, Reddit®, Instagram®, TikTok®, X (formerly Twitter®), YouTube®, Pinterest®, Netlify®, and any other third-party marks — remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Their mention is for identification, interoperability, and nominative-fair-use purposes only and does not imply any endorsement of, affiliation with, or sponsorship by those owners.

You may:

You may not, without prior written permission:

05 Apple App Store & Mobile Apps

The Lunot iOS app, including its compiled binary, embedded assets, in-app graphics, sound design, haptic patterns, app icon, splash screen, on-boarding screens, lock-screen widgets, home-screen widgets, Live Activities, Shortcuts actions, and Siri intents, is licensed — not sold — to you on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable basis under the Apple Standard End-User License Agreement (EULA) as supplemented by the Lunot Terms of Service.

App Store listing materials are also protected:

You may share or embed an App Store badge, app-icon link, or App Store Marketing URL pointing to the Lunot listing in accordance with the Apple Marketing Resources and Identity Guidelines. You may not modify the Apple-supplied badge, alter the Lunot icon outside its approved roundrect mask, or use App Store screenshots in a way that misrepresents the product.

Reposting, mirroring, or distributing Lunot's compiled .ipa or any derivative outside the Apple App Store is prohibited and may also violate Apple's developer agreements.

06 Google Play & Android

If and when Lunot publishes an Android build, the corresponding Google Play Store listing — including store graphics, feature graphic, screenshots, descriptions, in-app product names, and the compiled .apk / .aab bundle — is protected under the same terms as the iOS app and is made available subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement. Use of Google Play™, the Google Play badge, and Android™ branding follows the Google Brand Permissions guidelines.

07 Reddit Communities & Posts

Lunot may operate or moderate one or more subreddits (for example, a community oriented around cycle tracking, wellness, or product feedback) and may post from official Lunot accounts on Reddit. The following terms govern that activity:

Lunot-authored Reddit content

Posts, comments, AMAs, post flairs, custom CSS, banners, sidebar widgets, automoderator configurations, and pinned announcements published by an official Lunot account or moderator are protected works. They may be quoted in accordance with section 13 — Fair use, but may not be reproduced wholesale, repackaged into derivative apps, or used to train models without permission.

User content on Lunot subreddits

Posts and comments by Reddit users on Lunot-operated subreddits remain the property of those users. By posting, users grant Reddit, Inc. and the subreddit moderators the rights described in the Reddit User Agreement and Content Policy. Lunot moderators enforce subreddit rules, but Lunot does not claim ownership of user posts beyond what those agreements provide.

Quoting Reddit content elsewhere

If Lunot republishes a Reddit post or comment outside Reddit (for example, in a marketing testimonial or blog post), Lunot will obtain the user's permission, attribute the content to the original author's Reddit username, and link back to the source thread, in line with Reddit's API terms and r/redditdev guidance.

Bots, scraping, and AI training

Per Reddit's Public Content Policy and Data API Terms, automated access to Reddit content requires authorization from Reddit, Inc. Lunot does not authorize anyone to scrape Lunot subreddits or train models on Lunot-authored Reddit content, and Lunot does not itself scrape Reddit content for any commercial purpose without proper API access.

09 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create, including notes, journal entries, daily logs, custom symptom labels, profile photos, feedback, bug reports, feature requests, and any text, images, or audio you submit through the app, support email, or a Lunot-operated community.

By submitting content to Lunot — for example, sending a screenshot to support@lunot.app, posting in an official Lunot subreddit, replying to an Instagram poll, or tagging Lunot in a public post — you grant Lunot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical formatting only), publicly display, and publicly perform that content for the limited purpose of operating, providing, supporting, marketing, and improving Lunot. This license terminates when you delete the content, except where:

You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license, and that your submission does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.

When relying on such an exception, you remain responsible for ensuring your use actually qualifies. Lunot recommends you consult independent legal advice when in doubt.

14 DMCA Takedown Procedure (United States)

Lunot complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA"). If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent) and believe that material made available through a Lunot service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification to the designated agent identified below.
